Binham fly-in June 2018

It was a delightful day - warm with gentle winds. The most stunning was a forty year old Sopwith Tabloid from 1913. Apart from the pilots whose faces were showing their age, the model was superb. All scale details were modelled exactly including wings that twisted rather than having ailerons. The covering was the correct fabric and the ribs had cloth cap strips as in the original. As I was about to leave a full-size Dragon Rapide did several fly overs with a beautiful sound.
